Using OK Alone with ZOLEO for Remote Status Updates

With ZOLEO devices, you can update your status anywhere — even in remote locations where there’s no phone signal, and where OK Alone’s Limited Coverage Mode can’t operate.

Two important first steps to get your ZOLEO device set up:

Once your ZOLEO device is paired with your worker account, you’re ready to go.

When it’s time to perform a status action, such as Check-In, simply tap the Check-In button in the OK Alone app.

If no signal is available, you’ll see the option to Use ZOLEO.

Tap this, and OK Alone will automatically switch to the ZOLEO app. A message will be sent via satellite, updating your status and sharing your location.

After the message is sent, return to the OK Alone app and tap Yes to confirm that your status has been updated.

With this simple pairing, you can perform all key status actions, including:

  • Check-In
  • Help Alerts
  • Start Session
  • End Session

And that’s not all — you can even receive check-in reminders directly through your ZOLEO device when a check-in is due.
